Apart from our regular blurbs on nutrition, strength cycle and athlete of the month, the fitness committee and coaches are also doing lots of other things, such as….
…. getting new equipment:
We’ve just received a some new equipment and Cindy and Martina have been busy unpacking and numbering the newly arrived items. We can now include new equipment into our workouts because we have ‘slamballs’ and ‘low parallettes’.
…. T-shirts in production:
Soon we’ll have our t-shirts, we’ve ordered a variety and they will be distributed on a first come first served basis. (Price will be around 20 CHF). Stay tuned !!!

The events committee gearing up and looking for B3F athletes to participate in the Geneva Pride March on July 6th.
Dragon boat race: Sept 1st
We’re trying to get a team together to join in the annual Dragon Boat Festival in aid of charity. If anyone is interested, then let the events committee know.

Swiss Team Challenge 2019:
Last weekend coach Peter participated in the Swiss Team Challenge with some of his friends from CrossFit GVA. Next year, we will organize this event within our community, so start gearing up and training hard… info on the annual Swiss Team Challenge can be found on http://www.swissteamchallenge.ch/
While it’s still a while before we do our World Aids Day charity workout, the preparation has started already. The purpose of the event is to fundraise during the World AIDS day, for an NGO in the area of HIV /AIDS but also to attempt to break the world record of the number of Murph Workouts within the period of 24 hours.
The event date is set to Sunday 1 December (World AIDS Day), at noon till Monday 2 December noon and the funds raised during our annual WAD workout will go entirely to ‘Operation Bobbibear’
For a 24 hour workout, we’ll need a large support team, whether it is to help with the overall organization, keep count of the reps, take care of logistics , to cheer on, or to do a workout with Peter…. We’ll need your help, so if you’re willing to give a helping hand, contact anyone of the fitness committee.
